VSIA NRC Vaivari in collaboration with the Ministry of Welfare modernizes the IT system of technical aids

The Ministry of Welfare, together with other institutions, is creating a special project. The National Rehabilitation Centre “Vaivari” is also participating in the project. The project is supported by the European Regional Development Fund. This fund helps to create new solutions for work and entrepreneurship. The project's goals are: - to create a unified computer system for state institutions, - to make state work more convenient and faster, - to improve cooperation between state institutions and private companies, - to better utilize the data available to the state. The project is titled “Support Information System for the Deinstitutionalization Process (Phase 2)”. This means that a computer system is being created to help people receive services for living in society, rather than living long-term in large care institutions.
