VTPC has launched a pilot project in February 2020, within which bi-manual wheelchairs with an x-type and non-foldable frame can be obtained using a state-funded coupon from service providers: SIA “UniHaus”, SIA “Kanins” and A/S “Prosthetics and Orthopedics Centre”. The pilot project will last until December 2020. During this period, special attention will be paid to user feedback, and the new mechanism for receiving active wheelchairs will be evaluated.
With this pilot project, there is an opportunity to receive an active wheelchair with an x-type and non-foldable frame in three different ways. Each active wheelchair user can decide for themselves which way suits them best. You can read more about this in the section Procedure for issuing active wheelchairs.
