Seminar for healthcare professionals: Preparing an opinion for receiving an assistive device

On October 2 and 16, 2025, NRC “Vaivari” is hosting an online seminar. The seminar discusses how to correctly and practically fill out an opinion for receiving an assistive device. Special methodological guidelines are used in the seminar. They are developed during the clinical methodological project. Participants see examples and receive recommendations on how to prepare documents faster and better. Seminar times: - October 2, 2025 - October 16, 2025 Participants choose 1 of these dates. The seminar is held online, via Zoom (zoom.us). Target audience: - NRC “Vaivari” doctors - functional specialists - other interested parties Speakers: - Inese Svikliņa, physician in physical and rehabilitation medicine, NRC “Vaivari” - Irina Grečnaja, physician in physical and rehabilitation medicine, NRC “Vaivari”, VTPC Riga branch - Laura Slavinska, physiotherapist, NRC “Vaivari”, VTPC Riga branch - Dace Stirāne, physiotherapist, NRC “Vaivari” Participation in the seminar is free of charge. Registration: Please register by September 30, 2025. People who register will receive an email one day before the seminar. The email contains a reminder about the seminar and instructions on how to join. Confirmation of participation: 3 continuing education points (CEP) are awarded for participation in the seminar. These points can be used for the recertification of healthcare professionals. The seminar program and CEP are coordinated with LĀPPOS. The certificate of participation is issued electronically.
