Usage

  • One-sided manual wheelchair is intended for use indoors and outdoors. It is controlled with one hand.

Functional impairments for which it is recommended to use:

  • reduced physical endurance,
  • reduced muscle strength in the lower extremities,
  • limited range of motion in the joints,
  • significant movement and sensory impairments in one of the upper extremities,
  • suitable for individuals suffering from skeletal pain syndrome.

The wheelchair can only be received by the assistive device user at the expense of the state.

Description of the technical assistive device

  • equipped with brakes, armrests, footrests,
  • the wheelchair is foldable,
  • weight: 17 - 20 kg (depending on the size of the wheelchair),
  • weight capacity: 120 kg,
  • seat height from the floor: 50 cm,
  • seat depth: 43 cm,
  • back support height: 42 cm.

Additional equipment:

  • cushion.

Difference from similar technical assistive devices:

  • additional strap on the wheel that allows the wheelchair to be controlled with one hand,
  • one brake handle that locks both wheels simultaneously,
  • steering rod that connects both wheels, 
  • before folding the wheelchair, the steering rod must be removed.
