Usage The bimanual wheelchair, base model, is intended for use indoors and outdoors. It can be used at home, at work, in stores, and on the street. When it is recommended to use The wheelchair is suitable if: - there is low physical endurance (the person gets tired quickly, cannot walk or stand for long), - there is low muscle strength in the legs (difficult to stand up, climb stairs), - there are limited movements in the joints (for example, difficult to bend or straighten the leg at the knees or hips), - there are significant movement and sensory disorders in the legs (for example, paraplegia – legs do not move, or condition after leg amputation – leg has been removed), - there are increasingly pronounced gait disorders (the person finds it increasingly difficult to walk), - there is skeletal pain syndrome (for example, frequent and severe pain in the back, hips, knees). Important The bimanual wheelchair, base model, is NOT suitable if there are significant movement disorders in one arm. To use this chair, both arms need to be able to move well. The wheelchair can only be received by the user at the expense of the state. This means: the wheelchair is intended for a specific person who uses it themselves. User manual Technical assistive device description The wheelchair: - has brakes (can safely stop and secure the chair), - has armrests (can support the arms), - has footrests (can comfortably place the feet), - is foldable (can be easier to place in a car or store), - weighs about 15–17 kg (depending on the size of the chair), - supports a person's weight up to 125 kg, - seat height from the floor is about 47–52 cm, - seat depth is 41 cm, - back support height is 44 cm, - is made of aluminum with nylon upholstery (aluminum is a lightweight metal, nylon is a durable fabric).
