Base prices of individually manufactured compression orthoses This list contains compression orthoses. They are made individually for each person. Orthoses help in scar treatment and improving lymphatic drainage. Types and uses of orthoses: 1. Prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars – compression for scar treatment 2. Orthoses for improving lymphatic drainage after oncological illness – compression for the prevention of lymphostasis (lymphostasis is a condition where fluid accumulates in tissues and causes swelling) 3. Example from daily life: If a person develops a thick scar on their arm after a burn, a doctor may prescribe a soft compression orthosis for the arm.
