Alternative communication device with eye tracking (Tobii Dynavox PCEye)

Creating communication using eye gaze.

Purpose of use:

An alternative communication device that allows individuals with severe mobility impairments to control a computer and access all its functions using eye gaze.
It replaces the conventional keyboard and mouse, provides access to the internet, social networks, allows writing emails and creating documents, and enables adjusting the pace according to the user's abilities.

Technical aid description: 

  • The device is easily connectable to a computer that has Windows 10, Windows 11 operating system installed.
  • The device can also be used by individuals with corrective glasses and contact lenses, both binocular and monocular.
  • This device is suitable for individuals with severe mobility restrictions, for example, in cases of conditions such as – cerebral palsy, ALS, Rett syndrome, various degenerative progressive diseases, etc., resulting in severe motor function limitations or loss.
  • For individuals who need symbol  and/or text support for communication learning and creation, the device can be used together with communication software such as: Communicator 5, TD Snap etc.

Important: 

A personal computer is required to receive and use the device.
The device's software is compatible with the Windows operating system.
